Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of drug and alcohol rehab facility that works to treat substance abuse disorders and psychological disorders which may be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the individual in rehabilitation takes part in a variety of rehabilitation services and strategies in the day and then returns home in the evening. This is carried out several days a week, depending on the severity of the problem.
