Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of alcohol and drug rehabilitation program which works to handle substance abuse disorders and psychological problems which might be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the treatment client in rehabilitation participates in a number of rehabilitation services and methods in the daytime and then returns home in the evening.
