Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of drug treatment facility which works to deal with drug addiction disorders and mental health disorders which may be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the individual in treatment takes part in various treatment activities and approaches during the day and then returns home in the evening time. This is done anywhere from five to seven days per week, depending on the seriousness of the drug problem.
