Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a kind of alcohol and drug treatment program that works to treat substance abuse issues and psychological disorders which may be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the person in rehabilitation partakes in a variety of treatment activities and techniques in the daytime and then returns home in the night time. This is carried out several days per week, all dependent on the significance of the problem.
