Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of drug and alcohol rehabilitation program that works to handle drug addiction disorders and mental health disorders which might be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the treatment client in rehab partakes in various rehab activities and strategies during the day and then leaves in the evening. This is done several days per week, all dependent on the severity of the drug problem.
