Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of drug and alcohol rehabilitation facility which is meant to handle drug and alcohol addiction problems and mental health disorders which may possibly be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the person in rehabilitation participates in a number of rehab activities and approaches during the day and then leaves in the evening. This is done several days a week, all dependent on the severity of the drug or alcohol problem. Partial Hospitalization can be most effective for drug addicted persons in Farmington who who may be unable to afford long-term inpatient care, or for those who are not able to be away from their families for extensive durations of time.
