Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of drug rehab program that is meant to deal with substance abuse problems and psychological issues which may be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the person in rehabilitation participates in a variety of rehabilitation services and methods in the day and then leaves in the evening. This is carried out anywhere from five to seven days per week, depending on the significance of the drug problem.
