Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of drug and alcohol rehabilitation facility which works to deal with drug and alcohol addiction disorders and mental health disorders which might be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the treatment client in treatment participates in a number of treatment activities and approaches in the day and then returns home in the evening.
