Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of drug and alcohol rehab program that works to handle substance abuse disorders and psychological problems which may be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the person in rehabilitation takes part in a number of treatment services and approaches during the day and then returns home in the evening time. This is carried out several days a week, all dependent on the significance of the drug problem. Partial Hospitalization can be helpful for drug addicted men and women in Ely who are unable to afford long-term inpatient rehab, or for treatment clients who are not able to be away from their families for extended durations of time. While in Day Treatment, treatment clients take part in standard counseling and therapy for drug and alcohol addiction problems while simultaneously addressing psychological issues which could keep them from remaining abstinent once rehab is complete.
