Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of drug rehab program which is meant to handle drug and alcohol addiction problems and mental health issues which may be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the person in rehab takes part in a variety of treatment activities and approaches during the day and then returns home in the night time. This is carried out several days per week, all dependent on the severity of the problem.
