Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of drug treatment program which is meant to treat substance abuse problems and mental health problems which might be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the treatment client in treatment participates in a variety of rehabilitation activities and approaches in the daytime and then returns home in the evening. This is done anywhere from five to seven days per week, all dependent on the seriousness of the problem.
