Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of alcohol and drug rehab center that is meant to deal with substance abuse problems and mental health issues which may possibly be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the treatment client in rehab partakes in a variety of rehab services and strategies during the day and then leaves in the evening. This is carried out several days a week, depending on the seriousness of the drug or alcohol problem.
