Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of alcohol and drug rehabilitation program which is meant to handle drug addiction issues and psychological disorders which might be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the individual in rehab partakes in various rehabilitation services and approaches in the day and then returns home in the evening time. This is done anywhere from five to seven days per week, all dependent on the seriousness of the drug problem. Partial Hospitalization can be beneficial for drug addicted men and women in Elgin who who may be unable to afford long-term inpatient care, or who are not able to be away from their households for extensive periods of time.
