Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of alcohol and drug treatment center which works to treat substance abuse issues and psychological issues which may be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the person in rehabilitation participates in a variety of rehab services and techniques during the day and then leaves in the night time. This is done several days a week, all dependent on the significance of the problem.
