Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of alcohol and drug rehabilitation facility that is meant to treat drug and alcohol addiction issues and mental health disorders which may be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the individual in rehab partakes in a variety of rehab activities and methods during the day and then returns home in the night time. This is done anywhere from five to seven days per week, depending on the significance of the problem.
