Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of alcohol and drug rehabilitation facility that works to deal with substance abuse disorders and psychological problems which might be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the treatment client in rehab partakes in a number of treatment activities and techniques in the daytime and then returns home in the evening.
