Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of drug and alcohol treatment center which is meant to treat drug and alcohol addiction problems and psychological disorders which might be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the individual in rehabilitation participates in a variety of rehabilitation services and strategies in the daytime and then returns home in the evening time. This is carried out anywhere from five to seven days per week, depending on the seriousness of the problem.
