By means of early intervention, pregnant and postpartum women in East Charleston who are struggling with drug or alcohol addiction can avoid any serious effects for themselves and their infants by receiving powerful drug and alcohol abuse treatment. There are some alcohol and drug treatment facilities around the East Charleston area which have rehabilitation curriculum and rehabilitation environments developed around the needs and problems that currently pregnant and postpartum pregnant are faced with throughout rehabilitation.
