Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of drug rehab program which works to deal with drug addiction issues and mental health issues which may be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the person in treatment takes part in a number of rehabilitation services and approaches in the daytime and then returns home in the evening time. This is done several days per week, all dependent on the seriousness of the drug or alcohol problem.
