Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of drug and alcohol treatment facility which is meant to handle substance abuse disorders and mental health disorders which might be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the treatment client in rehabilitation takes part in a number of rehabilitation services and techniques in the daytime and then leaves in the evening time. This is done several days a week, depending on the severity of the drug problem.
