The most evident obstacles to treating Native Americans and Alaska Natives for addiction are cultural differences and their language. Due to this it is crucial that Native Americans and Alaska Natives in Dubois receive rehab treatment in a drug and alcohol treatment program that is understanding of their culture, but most importantly in one that understand the need to provide drug and alcohol rehab in their native tongue.
