Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of drug and alcohol rehabilitation program that works to treat substance abuse problems and psychological problems which may possibly be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the individual in rehabilitation takes part in various rehab activities and methods during the day and then leaves in the night time. This is carried out several days a week, depending on the severity of the problem.
