Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of drug and alcohol rehab center that works to handle substance abuse issues and mental health problems which may be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the treatment client in rehab participates in a variety of rehabilitation services and methods in the daytime and then returns home in the night time. This is done anywhere from five to seven days per week, all dependent on the seriousness of the drug problem.
