Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of alcohol and drug treatment facility that is meant to deal with substance abuse issues and psychological issues which may be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the treatment client in rehab partakes in various rehabilitation services and approaches in the day and then leaves in the evening. This is carried out anywhere from five to seven days a week, depending on the seriousness of the drug problem. Partial Hospitalization can be helpful for addicted individuals in Delevan who who may be unable to cover the costs of long-term inpatient care, or for treatment clients who are unable to be away from their families for extensive periods of time. While in Day Treatment, treatment clients participate in traditional treatment services for addiction problems while also dealing with mental health issues which may deter them from remaining sober after treatment is complete.
