Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of drug and alcohol rehabilitation facility which works to deal with drug and alcohol addiction issues and mental health disorders which may be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the treatment client in rehab partakes in various rehab activities and strategies in the daytime and then leaves in the evening. This is carried out anywhere from five to seven days per week, depending on the seriousness of the drug problem. Partial Hospitalization can be beneficial for drug or alcohol addicted men and women in Deerfield who are unable to cover the costs of long-term inpatient care, or for treatment clients who are unable to be apart from their families for extended lengths of time. While in Day Treatment, treatment clients take part in traditional counseling and therapy for addiction problems while simultaneously overcoming psychological issues which may deter them from staying sober after rehab is done.
