Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of alcohol and drug rehabilitation program which is meant to deal with drug addiction disorders and mental health issues which may be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the treatment client in rehabilitation takes part in various treatment activities and methods in the day and then leaves in the evening. This is carried out several days per week, depending on the severity of the problem.
