Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of drug and alcohol treatment center which works to deal with substance abuse disorders and psychological disorders which may be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the person in rehab takes part in a number of rehab activities and strategies in the daytime and then returns home in the evening time. This is done several days per week, depending on the significance of the drug problem.
