Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of alcohol and drug treatment center which works to treat substance abuse issues and psychological issues which might be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the treatment client in rehab partakes in a variety of treatment activities and approaches in the day and then leaves in the evening time. This is done anywhere from five to seven days per week, all dependent on the severity of the drug problem. Partial Hospitalization can be most effective for addicted men and women in Dallas who are unable to pay for long-term inpatient treatment, or for treatment clients who are not able to be apart from their home for prolonged periods of time.
