Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of drug and alcohol rehab program which is meant to deal with drug addiction disorders and mental health issues which might be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the treatment client in rehabilitation participates in a variety of treatment activities and strategies during the day and then leaves in the evening. This is carried out anywhere from five to seven days per week, depending on the severity of the problem.
