Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of drug and alcohol rehab center which is meant to treat substance abuse disorders and psychological disorders which may be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the person in treatment participates in various treatment activities and approaches during the day and then leaves in the night time. This is done several days a week, depending on the severity of the problem.
