Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of alcohol and drug rehab program which is meant to deal with drug and alcohol addiction issues and psychological problems which may possibly be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the individual in treatment participates in various rehab activities and approaches in the day and then returns home in the evening. This is carried out several days a week, depending on the significance of the drug or alcohol problem.
