Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of drug rehab program that is meant to treat drug addiction problems and mental health disorders which may be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the individual in rehabilitation participates in a number of rehab services and techniques in the day and then returns home in the night time. This is done several days per week, depending on the seriousness of the problem. Partial Hospitalization can be helpful for addicted persons in Courtland who may not be able to afford long-term inpatient treatment, or for treatment clients who are not able to be away from their home for prolonged durations of time. While in Day Treatment, individuals take part in traditional treatment services for drug and alcohol addiction problems while at the same time overcoming mental health issues which could keep them from remaining sober once rehab is complete.
