Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of alcohol and drug treatment program which works to treat drug addiction disorders and mental health issues which may possibly be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the person in rehab participates in a number of rehab services and approaches during the day and then leaves in the evening time. This is done anywhere from five to seven days per week, depending on the severity of the drug problem.
