Facilities known as Partial Hospitalization or Day Treatment programs are readily available to certain people in Coal City who are fighting co-occurring substance abuse and mental health problems. These types of centers can be beneficial to those treatment clients in Coal City that might not be able to afford inpatient treatment, or who are not able to take advantage of an inpatient center because of personal obligations. Partial hospitalization programs work with the individual in the daytime through counseling and other treatment strategies, and the individual goes home in the PM. Rehab is conducted nearly each day of the week on a tailored program which seeks to fully rehabilitate the person both physically and psychologically.
