Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a kind of drug rehabilitation center which is meant to deal with substance abuse problems and mental health problems which may be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the treatment client in rehab partakes in a number of treatment services and approaches during the day and then returns home in the evening time. This is done several days per week, depending on the severity of the problem.
