Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a kind of drug and alcohol rehabilitation facility that is meant to deal with substance abuse disorders and mental health issues which might be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the treatment client in treatment participates in a number of rehabilitation activities and approaches during the day and then returns home in the evening. This is done several days a week, depending on the seriousness of the problem.
