Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a kind of alcohol and drug rehabilitation program which works to deal with substance abuse problems and psychological issues which may be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the person in rehabilitation participates in various rehab activities and techniques in the day and then leaves in the night time. This is carried out several days per week, depending on the significance of the drug problem.
