Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of alcohol and drug rehab center that is meant to treat drug and alcohol addiction issues and mental health problems which may be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the individual in treatment participates in various rehab activities and methods in the daytime and then leaves in the evening time. This is done anywhere from five to seven days per week, all dependent on the seriousness of the problem. Partial Hospitalization can be helpful for drug or alcohol addicted persons in Chester who who may be unable to afford long-term inpatient care, or for those who are unable to be away from their home for prolonged durations of time.
