Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of drug rehab program which is meant to treat drug addiction issues and psychological problems which may be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the treatment client in rehab participates in a variety of rehab services and strategies during the day and then returns home in the evening. This is done anywhere from five to seven days a week, all dependent on the significance of the drug or alcohol problem.
