Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a kind of drug treatment facility which works to deal with drug addiction disorders and psychological problems which might be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the individual in treatment takes part in a number of rehabilitation activities and strategies during the day and then leaves in the evening. This is done anywhere from five to seven days per week, all dependent on the seriousness of the problem.
