Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of drug and alcohol rehab center which works to deal with drug addiction disorders and psychological issues which may possibly be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the individual in treatment partakes in a variety of treatment activities and approaches in the daytime and then leaves in the evening. This is done several days per week, depending on the seriousness of the drug or alcohol problem.
