Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of alcohol and drug treatment facility that is meant to deal with drug and alcohol addiction disorders and mental health problems which may be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the treatment client in rehabilitation partakes in a number of rehab activities and strategies in the day and then returns home in the evening. This is carried out several days a week, depending on the seriousness of the drug problem.
