Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of drug and alcohol treatment facility which works to handle drug and alcohol addiction disorders and psychological disorders which may be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the individual in rehab partakes in various rehabilitation activities and strategies during the day and then returns home in the evening time.
