Facilities known as Partial Hospitalization or Day Treatment programs are offered to those individuals in Canastota who are fighting co-occurring drug and alcohol abuse and mental health issues. These kinds of programs may be beneficial to specific rehab clients in Canastota that might not be able to afford inpatient care, or who are not able to take advantage of an inpatient program due to personal obligations. Partial hospitalization programs treat the client in the daytime through counseling and other treatment strategies, and the individual goes home in the PM. Treatment is performed anywhere from five to seven days per week on an intensive program which seeks to fully rehabilitate the individual both physically and psychologically.
