Facilities known as Partial Hospitalization or Day Treatment centers are offered to certain individuals in Cambridge who are having difficulties with co-occurring drug and alcohol abuse and mental health disorders. These sorts of centers can be beneficial to specific treatment clientele in Cambridge that might not be able to pay for inpatient care, or who are not able to take advantage of an inpatient program because of familial responsibilities. Partial hospitalization centers work with the individual in the daytime through counseling and other rehab methods, and then the client returns home in the PM. Rehab is carried out anywhere from five to seven days per week on an intensive program which seeks to fully rehabilitate the individual both physically and psychologically.
