Facilities known as Partial Hospitalization or Day Treatment facilities are offered to those people in Cambridge who are having difficulties with co-occurring alcohol and drug abuse and mental health problems. These sorts of facilities can be effective to specific treatment clientele in Cambridge that might not be able to pay for inpatient care, or who are unable to take advantage of an inpatient program due to familial responsibilities. Partial hospitalization facilities treat the individual during the day through counseling and other rehabilitation strategies, and then the client goes home in the PM. Treatment is conducted anywhere from five to seven days per week on an intensive program which seeks to fully rehabilitate the person both body and mind.
