Centers known as Partial Hospitalization or Day Treatment programs are readily available to those individuals in California who are fighting co-occurring substance abuse and psychological disorders. These types of facilities can be helpful to specific rehab clients in California that might not be able to afford inpatient treatment, or who are not able to take advantage of an inpatient facility because of personal responsibilities. Partial hospitalization centers treat the individual in the daytime through therapy and other treatment strategies, and then the client goes home in the PM. Treatment is conducted nearly each day of the week on a tailored program which seeks to fully rehabilitate the client both physically and mind.
