Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of alcohol and drug rehabilitation program which is meant to deal with substance abuse problems and mental health problems which might be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the treatment client in rehab participates in a variety of rehab activities and methods during the day and then returns home in the evening.
