Treating men and women who are addicted and dependent to drugs and/or alcohol and have found their way into the criminal justice system has proven a successful method of curbing future drug related offenses for people that do receive treatment. For criminal justice clients in Buda that do take part in in drug rehabilitation programs, even un-voluntarily as is sometimes ordered by the judge, these persons have a significantly better opportunity of dealing with the crux of the issue so that they can remain off of drugs and off of negative influences and [[[committing drug related criminal acts. The costs to the criminal justice system related to these drug related offenses is also affected beneficially when criminal justice clients become rehabbed in drug treatment centers in Buda in lieu of incarceration or other penalties.
