Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of alcohol and drug rehab program which is meant to deal with substance abuse issues and mental health issues which might be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the treatment client in rehab participates in various rehab activities and approaches during the day and then returns home in the evening time. This is done several days a week, all dependent on the seriousness of the drug problem.
